This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The internal assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 3PH Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230/460V at 60Hz and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The drive system utilizes a Woods coupler and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and coupler guard. The motor is built to NEMA frame 254 specifications and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
