This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller made of bronze, housed in a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 213 JM frame with feet and adheres to NEMA standards. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The motor operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.87.
