This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 T frame with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across the line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.85 and is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient temperature.
