This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge ports.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built to a NEMA 326T frame and is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The assembly is configured with a welded base, an integrated drip pan, and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump uses an across the line starting configuration and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
