This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates installation and venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured with a NEMA 254 JM motor frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The motor operates on 230-460/60/3PH power and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a standard CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
