This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a Class 30 cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a dry shaft design using a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 15 HP WEG premium efficiency motor. It is configured with a 254T NEMA frame, an ODP enclosure, and a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and a coupler guard covering a Woods coupler. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It utilizes across the line starting and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
