This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that includes a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. This model includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as a rear pullout design for servicing.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It features a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power input with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and meets NEMA standards along with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
