This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F for clean water applications.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the assembly has a PEI of 0.88. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard, while the 40°C ambient rated motor connects to the bearing frame using a standard coupling.
