This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor in a 254T NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH power, with across the line starting. The motor is premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is designed for operation at a 40°C ambient temperature.
