This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and a drain port at the bottom of the casing.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
