This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, connected via ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The pump utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit incorporates a rear pull-out design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP motor. It features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a frame 254 JM style with feet and is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The system functions at a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump complies with NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements with a PEI value of 0.94.
