This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and meets NEMA standards with a 40°C ambient rating. The motor is provided in a 286 JM frame with feet and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89. The pump rotation is counter-clockwise.
