This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F in clean water. This unit features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 254 JM frame style featuring feet for mounting and operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is configured for across-the-line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. It has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
