This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is equipped with a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and employs a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A rear pullout configuration enables servicing without disturbing connected piping, while the top center line discharge assists in system venting.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. This configuration is compatible with a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and uses a JM frame style with feet. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. It supports across the line starting and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The assembly is configured for mounting and performance within standardized system piping layouts.
