This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and utilizes across the line starting for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. It features CCW rotation and a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
