This Taco FI Series frame-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal assembly is rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP Baldor premium efficiency TEFC motor, NEMA frame 365, T frame style. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard covering a Woods coupler. The product has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
