This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that isolates the circulating fluid from the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Mechanical sealing is managed by a ceramic seat with EPT elastomers. This unit maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI. The bearing housing incorporates permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings to support continuous operation.
The assembly utilizes a 100 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V / 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
