This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design uses a dry shaft and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing, and the top center line discharge configuration provides a vertical piping interface.
This pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It operates at 1150 RPM and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses an 184 JM motor frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The unit is installed in a close coupled configuration.
