This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 213T frame style configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which utilizes greasable bearings. This unit has a PEI value of 0.93.
