This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and utilizes a NEMA 256 T-frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It features greasable bearings, operates in a 40°C ambient environment, and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
