This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The electrical configuration is 575V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 145 JM frame style with feet and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The assembly conforms to NEMA standards and rotates counterclockwise. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
