This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and top center line discharge for installation. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design includes a slip-on shaft sleeve, a dry shaft to isolate the pump shaft from system fluid, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This unit does not include a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a JM frame style with feet and follows NEMA standards. Power requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with a 40°C ambient rating. The motor features premium efficiency, AEGIS shaft grounding, and rotates counter-clockwise. The pump assembly has a PEI of 0.84. The starting configuration is across the line, and the motor enclosure does not include a drip cover.
