This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a rear pull-out design for servicing and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A slip-on bronze shaft sleeve is included to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for optional filtration.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP, 1750 RPM motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure from Baldor, offering premium efficiency and meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is wired for 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI of 0.9. This close-coupled assembly utilizes a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and reduce strain on system connections.
