This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps.
The pump utilizes a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard dimensions and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump performs at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and across the line starting. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.92.
