This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The unit includes greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.91 and operates in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
