This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a rear pullout design to facilitate field maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft and provides flush seal line taps for potential filter installation. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 254 JM frame style with feet and is powered by 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperature. This unit operates with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
