This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. This pump includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit features flush seal line taps.
This pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor is a premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The rotation is CCW with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
