This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The dry shaft construction incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components maintains hydraulic integrity, which is rated for 125 PSI. This design provides center-line discharge for air venting and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
The motor is a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC unit operating at 1750 RPM, integrated with Aegis grounding and powered by 380-460V / 3PH, maintaining a DOE PEI of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
