This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the internal shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Additional features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a 284 JM frame with feet. The assembly includes a factory-installed drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and conforms to NEMA standards with premium efficiency ratings meeting MG1-12.55. The pump is rated for a DOE PEI of 0.97 and uses across-the-line starting as the standard operating configuration.
