This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump assembly incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring and employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 213 T frame. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions in a 40°C ambient environment with standard counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
