This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a greasable bearing frame and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 405T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 460V/60Hz/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is designed for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.93, with efficiency ratings compliant with MG1-12.55.
