This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The impeller is constructed of bronze and incorporates a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for 300°F clean water service. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a NEMA T frame, size 213, and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler for connection. The system has a PEI value of 0.88 and functions in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
