This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections. It utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It also features flush seal line taps to allow for the installation of a filter to protect the seal from particles.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and requires a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor includes an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and an across-the-line starting option. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.87.
