This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump consists of a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly uses a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This configuration supports fluid temperatures up to 300 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are provided for system monitoring and maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 286 JM motor frame with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and an across-the-line starting option. The electrical power requirement is 230-460/60/3. This unit meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.94. The top center line discharge design assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain during installation.
