This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The impeller has a 7-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft that prevents contact with the circulating fluid and features flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler for connection. This assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and operates with standard counter-clockwise rotation. The equipment has a PEI of 0.85 and an HI Energy Rating of 15.
