This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal assembly is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The pump assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, ODP enclosure motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It utilizes 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across the line starting configuration. The motor is a Baldor unit equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. This unit meets a PEI value of 0.91.
