This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents process fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections along with flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This pump features sealed-for-life bearings and meets a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
