This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It also provides pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 100 HP Baldor premium efficiency TEFC motor in a 405T NEMA frame. It requires a 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and supports across-the-line starting. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
