This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration. This unit is constructed without a wear ring and utilizes a top center-line discharge for venting and piping alignment.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with an 182JM motor frame style with feet and supports across-the-line starting. Electrical power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
