This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and is mounted in a JM frame with feet. It meets NEMA standards and Super E premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The motor operates in a 40 °C ambient environment and the unit holds a PEI value of 0.83.
