This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and utilizes a rear pullout design to facilitate service without disturbing system piping.
The pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It uses a JM frame style with feet and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and features premium efficiency per MG1-12.55, including an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. Starting is accomplished across the line, and the unit operates in a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.78.
