This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 suction and discharge flanges measuring 2-1/2" and 1-1/2" respectively. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies installation.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM using a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 145 JM frame style with feet and supports 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. This unit meets NEMA standards, operates in a 40°C ambient environment, and utilizes CCW rotation. The motor provides premium efficiency per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
