This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump has a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact with the system fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration for service access.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 213JM frame style including feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.87. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and is set for counter-clockwise rotation.
