This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge. It uses a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are included to accommodate an optional filter, and the unit provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 256 JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. It is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and an across-the-line starting configuration with standard counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
