This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure and a JM style motor frame with feet. The electrical specifications include 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, meets NEMA standard requirements, and complies with MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The motor rotation is CCW. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
