This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 60Hz power supply with a NEMA 256T frame motor. The unit is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.93.
