This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 256 T frame and operates on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The unit has a PEI of 0.92.
