This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber for clean water temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a JM frame style with feet and offers premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. Power configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, utilizing an across the line starting option and a 40 °C ambient rating. The assembly does not include a drip cover. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
