This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor on a NEMA 324TS frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a standard coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a PEI value of 0.91 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
