This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The impeller is mounted on a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This pump uses a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for a maximum temperature of 225°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
